If you would like some help to get around Eastgate, then the centre have free electric and regular wheelchairs available.

Due to occasional high demand, it is best to pre-book these, by calling Shopmobility on 01268 533644 or 0800454863. The Shopmobility office is located on the Lower Galleries, right next to the car park. To borrow our chairs, you'll need just two pieces of identification, one of which has your address on it.

Other Shopmobility facilities include:

Full shopping centre access for wheelchairs
Disabled toilets on the Lower and Upper Malls
Disabled parking spaces

Also Onsight - the sighted guide service for visually impaired shoppers, are located in the Upper Galleries.

The Eastgate Shopping Centre Creche

Is open from 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday/11am to 4pm Sunday

Sprogg.com qualified staff and a full child security system ensure your child is safe, sound and having lots of fun in the centre's crèche. Children aged 2 to 11, can stay for up to 2 hours, from 10.am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sunday and we have pre-bookable places for children with special needs, meaning that you can leave the children in capable hands, while you enjoy some excellent shopping.
